1.1. Developing Made in Vietnam Finest Management Technology Transfer Activities at Vietnamese organizations

Based on research from practice and verification, successfully implemented in thousands of Vietnamese enterprises over the past ten years, and especially constantly improving this Technology, the GKM Institute of Finest Management constantly transfers part or all of the Made in Vietnam Finest Management Technology to many Vietnamese businesses with the aim of creating a sustainable management foundation for Vietnamese business systems in a challenging and volatile economic period.

The courses Made in Vietnam Finest CEO, Made in Vietnam Finest EMO, Made in Vietnam Finest FMO, Made in Vietnam Finest Management 5S, Made in Vietnam Finest Digital Transformation Consulting, as well as numerous deep consulting programs and special companion programs for businesses with ambitions to create products and Vietnamese service class, have been very valuable to many businesses and organizations in the second half of 2022 alone (after Covid).

Since mid-2022, the Made in Vietnam Finest Management Technology has been continuously spread to 100 businesses through the Finest CEO training program, in particular, for 4 courses (from the 50th to the 53rd). Every single student who has gone on to become a senior leader in a company or organization has a strong desire to change for the better. Through a series of events in 2022, GKM spread the authentic Vietnamese Management Gene throughout the nation, from the North to the South. In particular, National Assembly Television extensively promoted the book “Finest Management in Vietnam * The Road to Success,” once more endorsing the theory and practice of lean management. Made in Vietnam leaves a lasting impression on the educational system of the nation, bringing great values and a prestigeous reputation while assisting in the resolution of real-world issues in business, society, and the nation.

All owners with high aspirations, as well as society and the country as a whole, share the desire for things to improve. The year 2023 is going to be turbulent. Will business change for the better to weather the storm, or will it change for the worse and problems mount? II/ STARTING MBV NETWORK 2022

MBV International Company

MBV Network was created through the transmission and homogenization of Made In Vietnam Finest Management Gene system combined with the professional strengths of each member enterprise. MBV Network includes businesses owned by Vietnamese people, cooperate to close the value chain of Vietnamese products and services (R&D, production, trading) thereby contributing to creating a strong internal force foundation to gradually help Vietnamese enterprises continuously improve the value of themselves, also escape the trap of middle ability and middle income, making practical contributions to the sustainable development of Vietnam and humanity.

Businesses with Vietnamese-branded goods and services that have been implementing some or all of the Made in Vietnam Finest Management Genome into their operations will be welcome in the first phase of the MBV Network. ii) Thygesen Vietnam Textile and Garment Limited (companies taking course 51 of the Finest CEO Made in Vietnam program). MBV Network hopes to collaborate with Thygesen in distributing the Made in Vietnam Finest Management Gene to companies in the sector in order to connect the branded end product chain in Vietnam.

iii) The joint stock company FNC, which is attending the course MIV 50 Finest CEO program, has partnered with the MBV Network to market its products to MBV entrepreneurs.

MBV Network will continue to work with MBV Entrepreneurs in 2023 to raise the value of authentic Vietnamese goods and services, expand the network to include more Vietnamese companies, and link the supply chain of high-end Vietnamese goods.

III/ GKM EDU

GKM EDU is a member of GKM Vietnam. Taking the Made in Vietnam Education Technology as the foundation, GKM Edu continuously creates educational service to enhance human potential through consulting and training programs for businesses, higher learning institutions, vocational institutions, and general education at all levels:

The purpose of this training program is to provide educational training solutions for teachers (lecturers, teachers, and training staff in general education and businesses) to help them better guide learners and help them apply the training content to real-world organizational practice.
Offer solutions on how to use technology for coaching and training in the field for internal training programs there.
For learners (students and employees) at all levels in the nation’s educational system, the training materials orient and develop skills for learners at home and in society.

3.1. Organizing Elite Education Programs for Elementary and High School Students

Two Elite Education Programs are organized by GKM Edu in 2022, one for primary students and one for high school students. The program is based on Made in Vietnam Education Technology, which was developed by GKM Institute of Finest Management and GKM EDU and is protected by intellectual property rights both in Vietnam and internationally. The program improves lives, develops learners’ true abilities, and upholds traditional values. Three factors highlight how the Elite education program differs from other programs:

First: Training method
Putting the student’s development first and using universal principles as the cornerstone, utilizing knowledge effectively in real-world situations is a goal of training methods.
Second: Test and evaluation
Based on their true learning potential and how much their original personality values have changed, students are evaluated.
Third: Coordination
In the program, parents and teachers work closely together. Parents receive training on how evaluations at school and at home operate. Parents agree to participate in the learning process and practice sessions at the training facilities of the educational program with the school. After three months of implementation, the program’s benefits are felt by both parents and students. Students start to understand how to apply their knowledge to various spatial contexts at home, school, and in society. Students’ connections to their families and communities are strengthened as a result of that connection.

3.3. Continue to spread the Made in Vietnam Governance Gene system on the digital platform

In 2022, GKM Edu will change the interface for GKM E-learning to help learners learn more effectively.

The Made in Vietnam Finest Management Technology, Tam The of Things and Finest Thinking of Things are anticipated to be organized by GKM Edu and the GKM Institute of Finest Management in 2023 the hybrid learning approach combines and synchronizes expert-led training with online video learning. 4.1. Infusing the Made in Vietnam Finest Management Gene into Vietnamese family life

The Study Tour “ST01” with the theme “Essence from the Smallest Things” brought with it unforgettable memories of a wonderful summer in order to introduce Finest Management at Home into Vietnamese homes by the middle of 2022, open to all participating parents and students.

One of the highlights of this trip was the students’ direct instruction from teachers from the GKM Institute of Finest Management on how to organize their own lives more essentially. Each child receives a kit specifically designed to help them easily and scientifically organize their belongings. GKM Homes is the sponsor of the kit. Additionally, this is a place that offers life-streamlining solutions and has steadily built a name for itself in the industry.

For the Vietnamese people, the GKM Homes value chain serves as the destination for essential living solutions, from products to services. GKM Homes has also been stepping up its promotion of quality products of Vietnamese brands addition to these essential living solutions and catering to the needs of various customer groups. Based on research into household needs for each living area in 2022, we provided Vietnamese families with first-rate product experiences and solutions at a fair price.

GKM Homes will continue to broaden the sources of Vietnamese-branded goods in 2023, as well as the online and offline systems for distribution in a few Vietnamese provinces. Through the homogenization of the Made in Vietnam Finest Management Gene system, we look forward to assisting the product manufacturers, service providers, and commercial entities in the nation’s strong product fields. V/ 2023 TARGET

Developing a solid internal resource foundation to gradually assist Vietnamese companies in continually improving the value of their companies, escaping the middle-income trap, and making useful contributions to the sustainable development of Vietnam and humanity. Extending the MBV Network, connecting businesses with the same GKM Management Gene, closing the final product chain, and contributing to the creation of a strong internal resource foundation.

1. Made in Vietnam Lean Management Technology Transferred for enterprises in Vietnam

In early 2021, GKM Technology Institute and GKM Lean Institute, GKM Vietnam Company participated in the Vietnam International Innovation Expo 2021 (Vietnam International Innovation Expo 2021 – VIIE 2021) at the Hi-Tech Park, Hoa Lac, Hanoi (the place where the National Innovation Center will be built). This is the first international exhibition on innovation in Vietnam with the participation of representatives of Vietnamese government agencies. This event attracted nearly 200 leading organizations and enterprises in Vietnam. GKM Technology Institute and GKM Lean Institute, GKM Vietnam Company has introduced for the first time to the public : i) Made in Vietnam Lean Management Technology, ii) Made in Vietnam, Made by Vietnam Innovative Technology, aligned with the Vietnamese situation, iii) Made in Vietnam Education Technology. 2021 has been a tumultuous year with more than 100,000 businesses having to suspend or stop their production and business activities. 2. Made in Vietnam Lean Digital Transformation Technology

In 2020, the GKM Lean Institute, GKM Tech conducted training programs on Made in Vietnam Lean Digital Transformation Model for SMEs. The success of the Made in Vietnam Lean Digital Transformation Model has been created and established on the foundation of the Made in Vietnam Lean Management Technology, unifying the understanding, how to do digital transformation in a scientific and effective manner. Paper on digital transformation in practical conditions in Vietnam. This is a breakthrough development of the theory of digital transformation Made in Vietnam, helping Vietnamese businesses cut down on waste (visible as well as invisible) in the process of implementing digital transformation.

3. Policy consulting research activities

The year 2021 has ups and downs with strong influence of macro factors affecting the economy and businesses. Therefore, studying policies and proposing policy solutions to support the development of enterprises, improve internal resources, and competitiveness to be able to cope with fluctuations of macro factors is very important task.

In 2021, GKM Lean Institute, Assoc. Nguyen Dang Minh has been implementing the program “Made by Vietnam Open Innovation” to develop an open innovation network towards connecting knowledge from the University to businesses and vice versa. The GKM Foundation continues to sponsor educational development programs in Vietnam. The GKM Foundation has sponsored research programs on teaching innovation for K12 teachers based on the existing system of curriculum materials. At the same time, the fund is also working towards publishing publications that help students at all levels apply knowledge in real life. The publication will be a bridge between students, parents and teachers in applying and evaluating the effectiveness of the values learned in school in real work and life.

2. Developing a research project on education theory and technology Made in Vietnam and transferring it to international educational and training organizations

The year 2021 also marks the strong development of Made in Vietnam Lean Education Technology. GKM Lean Institute established TGP Japan Company to transfer Vietnamese management technologies to Japan and transfer technical training technology from Japan to Vietnam. TGP Japan with the foundation of Made in Vietnam Lean Education Technology combined with Japanese vocational technology promises to be an effective educational model in Vietnam in the coming years.

One of the important activities of the GKM Technology Institute (GKM tech) in 2021 is to coordinate with the GKM Institute of Lean Management to transfer the Made in Vietnam Lean Digital Transformation Technology to businesses. Made in Vietnam Lean Digital Transformation technology is a combination of management and technology (domestic and international). Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh has redefined how to understand and how to implement digital transformation in accordance with the situation of Vietnam.

Along with that, GKM Tech is working on building a digital transformation toolkit based on the foundation of Made in Vietnam Lean Management Technology (digitizing Made in Vietnam Lean Management Technology). Especially in 2021, GKM Tech has finished the R&D process of IoT system deployment solutions for manufacturing enterprises in Vietnam.

PERSPECTIVE VIEW FROM EXPERIENCES OF TRAINING AND CONSULTING ON MADE IN VIETNAM LEAN MANAGEMENT AT ENTERPRISES

Q1: As a training and management consultant in the field of A Pure Vietnamese Management School, how do you rate the overall development situation of Vietnamese businesses/ organizations that you have encountered in the past during training and counseling?

A1: With the experience of training and advising thousands of Vietnamese businesses across 3 regions of the country during the past 10 years, to me, 2019 is a year of positive changes in the economy in general and the Vietnamese business community in particular.

Firstly, quite a lot of Vietnamese entrepreneurs and businesses have begun to have Tam The perception that they need to develop their business in depth. The most obvious evidence of this is that more and more entrepreneurs want to produce Made in Vietnam products, Made by Vietnam products for replacing imported goods; deeply participates in the global value chain. Business leaders have begun to understand that businesses can only have their own position when they have their own core values, real products and services, meeting the increasing and rigorous demands of the life.

Secondly, businesses have understood the true value of the Made in Vietnam Lean Management System (Pure Vietnamese Management), which is really the appropriate management system to support businesses to develop sustainably. Business leaders have also begun to understand the importance of building a management DNA for businesses according to the Made in Vietnam Lean Management School. I think that is a good sign, especially in the context of an open economy where every individual, business, organization must create for themselves the competitive advantages in management to survive and develop.

Q2: You have said that businesses have the time to unify the management DNA at all levels of management (senior, mid-level and deployment staff) to effectively manage their businesses. Please clarify this point?

A2: If an enterprise wants to develop sustainably, it is necessary to develop both technology and management in parallel. If one of these two factors is weak, it is difficult to develop sustainably. Technology helps businesses create products that meet customers’ requirements and standards. To participate in the global value chain, businesses must build the platform and develop technology in accordance with their management practices, comply with and ensure international standards of product and service quality. Technology can be imported or transferred, however, it cannot be imported in a massive way without taking into account the specific management factors and in accordance with Vietnamese practices.

Management is different, management is a thing in society, formed by social characteristics, so it is specific to each individual and each country. Therefore, each enterprise must build its own scientific and unified management system at all levels, which is its own appropriate management DNA. In an enterprise, management is a determinant of the productivity of individuals and organizations, efficiency and sustainability, or in other words directly impacts the costs of products and services. This is also a decisive factor for the competitiveness in the market, helping businesses increase their ability to participate in the global value chain.

Q3: In your opinion, how does the technology need to be set on an appropriate management foundation?

A3: The practice of Made in Vietnam Lean Management System in businesses in Vietnam helped me to realize that, modern technology is not always good but the most importantly thing is the suitableness and effective management. If businesses invest a lot of money to get good technology but do not have appropriate technology management methods, the efficiency brought back may not be commensurate with the investment costs. Vietnam has had a lot of painful lessons in the past about this where the machinery stuff of trillions have been abandoned, causing waste and huge loss of resources of businesses and the country. It is time for us to be aware of this.

Q4: Could you give advice to businesses that at what time do businesses need to start building a management system that carries the lean DNA according to the Pure Vietnam Management School?

A4: I think that businesses need to start building a systematic management system right from the beginning of establishing businesses. That is expressed through the development philosophy of the business, the mission of the business, the vision of the business. From the very first steps, business owners must know what their business was born for and where they will go, what they will need to do to achieve those goals. Just like a boat crossing the ocean, the clearer the itinerary, the more prepared it is, the higher the ability to reach its destination. A good DNA will determine which businesses grow and grow sustainably according to the DNA operating system.

Q5. How have GKM Lean Management Institute, GKM Vietnam Corporation built a DNA system for businesses under the Made in Vietnam Lean Management School?

A5: At GKM, to help businesses build a DNA management system according to the Made in Vietnam Lean Management School, we have designed 3 programs including: Made in Vietnam Lean CEO (for business leadership), Made in Vietnam EMO Lean (for middle managers), and FMO (for staff level). First, it is the CEOs who must change the perception and get the desire to perfect the company management system in a methodical manner. After that, we will transfer to CEOs the method of transplanting the DNA into the enterprises under the Made in Vietnam Lean EMO program.

This is the process that we, together with the businesses, build the company management DNA through the training of mid-level team, turning middle-level managers into middle-level managers, a key factor in DNA of an enterprise. During EMO training, we also accompany businesses to establish an internal training environment for businesses. As mentioned above, internal training is extremely important because only when enterprises have good internal training the DNA of management and technology systems of enterprises can be maintained and developed well. I think this is an effective way and businesses in Vietnam can fully cooperate with GKM Lean Institute to duplicate the DNA together.

All of these training and consulting programs have been registered for intellectual property in Vietnam and internationally by GKM Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Q6: How will the staff training (FMO) be supported by GKM?

A6: These people will be involved in the DNA of the businesses through daily work under the counseling and training programs of the GKM Lean Institute. At the same time, it is the EMOs we have trained that will train FMO employees in enterprise practice with us. In addition, with the goal of contributing to improving the quality of Vietnam’s human resources, in 2019, GKM Lean Institute, GKM Vietnam Corporation also completed a set of solutions to develop new human resources named “Working for real, developing real career”. The program “Working for real, developing real career” is not only for domestic businesses, this program is extended to apply successfully to businesses that send workers to work abroad (often called exported laborers or trainees). This is an effective solution to help employees effectively acquire practical experience in working abroad, creating a foundation for career development after returning home.

TAM THE and Lean Thinking are introduced to employees right after graduation will help improve the quality of FMOs at businesses, helping businesses limit retraining of which new businesses and workers will have the same Made in Vietnam Lean Management DNA Generation for long-term and sustainable development.

Not only in Vietnam, the FMO training program in 2019 has also been recommended by Japanese universities for their students. After completing the programs in 2019, in 2020, up to the date we have also continued to receive orders from other universities. It is a praiseworthy result for us not only domestic enterprises but also international partners who have begun to recognize the value and appreciation of the intellectual products from the Made in Vietnam Lean Management System. Products of enterprises and intellectual property management products in Vietnam have gradually conquered and affirmed their position in the international arena.

Q7: In 2019, “Digital economy” and “Digital Transformation” are the terms mentioned by the government and domestic enterprises a lot. What do you think about this trend?

A7: We think that in order to improve productivity, quality and sustainable development, digital transformation activities need to be based on a strong management foundation and in line with Vietnamese practices.

From the perspective of Made in Vietnam Lean Management, digital transformation in Vietnam is the transformation of the management model according to the DNA of Made in Vietnam Lean Management, in which models of effective lean management methods will be the element factors of the digital transformation. When the members of the enterprises are unified by Tam The, self-training and being trained to improve the management capacity, mastering the use of Lean Management solutions, the digital transformation process will take place quickly and effectively. If we prioritize too much investment in hardware elements (machinery, equipment, robots, microelectronic control systems, etc.) and forget the human factor that is the most important factor needing to transformed during digital transformation it will be is a huge waste.

Q8: In order to do digital transformation and transform the management model suitable for the digital economy, in your opinion, what should Vietnamese enterprises prioritize to do?

A8: Through our own researches, and from the experience drawn from Lean Management consultancy training projects for businesses, we think that

First, businesses must build a Made in Vietnam Lean Management System in their businesses. This is the fundamental factor determining the success of digital transformation

Secondly, on the basis of the Made in Vietnam Lean Management System, Vietnamese enterprises need to step by step (in part or in whole) reach the R&D area in their fields in order to master the technology, create technologies that are suitable to the country ‘s practices and in line with the development objectives of the enterprises.

Third, the human element should always be at the forefront of the factors involved in building businesses, developing products and services that meet the legitimate needs of Vietnamese and international markets. Businesses need to have a well-established technology management system, must have many suitable people in accordance with the DNA of the business, sustainable development with the business.

Fourthly, enterprises need to make internal training (both management and technology) an indispensable item in all activities of the enterprises. It is impossible to have a good staff to develop the business without good internal training. This is extremely important.

Q9: What more has GKM Vietnam done in 2019 to support businesses in the field of internal training?

A9: In addition to offline training programs at enterprise locations, GKM E-learning system was also launched in 2019. Besides promoting the strengths of E-learning technology, GKM E-learning also focuses on addressing actual needs of the business is internal training. Not only support businesses to get online lessons for studying and reviewing (reskill and upskill) in any space, any time that is appropriate, based on Made in Vietnam Lean Management solutions, GKM E-learning also supports businesses to build in-depth training content about their own technologies and management. Since then, internal training activities in the business have become easier and easier.

We also select important issues, directly addressing the problems facing Vietnamese businesses such as Made in Vietnam Lean Management 5S. In order to apply 5S, we have upgraded the Japanese 5S method to Made in Vietnam Lean Management 5S method (intellectual property registered), to solve problems of the traditional 5S method such as not maintaining, not implemented regularly. Made in Vietnam Lean Management 5S has been implanted in the pure Vietnamese Lean Management System (Made in Vietnam) (https://elearning.gkm.vn/). Therefore, although newly launched, GKM E-learning has been well received and registered for use by many Vietnamese businesses. I always emphasize that, in the process of digital transformation, it is about changing ways of thinking, changing the management model towards increasing productivity, creating more and more Made in Vietnam, Made by Vietnam products and services should be prioritized.

Q10: With the achievements in 2019, what is the development plan of GKM Vietnam in 2020?

A10: With the mission of “Constantly increase the added value for individuals, businesses, organizations, the country through Made in Vietnam, Made by Vietnam products and services of the Company”, in 2020 we prepare ourselves with many things to do in the development plan which can be shared briefly as following:

Advice on solution system for establishing R&D centers according to the Made in Vietnam Lean Technology Management DNA at Vietnamese enterprises. It is the time for us to be confident with Vietnamese businesses in this mission. This transferred product is groundbreaking, pioneering, making a practical contribution to the creation of Made in Vietnam, Made by Vietnam, Made for Vietnam products and services, supporting Vietnamese businesses toward a higher level and a new level.
Continuing to expand the training and consulting activities on building DNA for businesses/ organizations and families in Vietnam on the basis of Made in Vietnam Lean Management System.
Launch GKMWORKS service (under GKM Services) for human resource development (reskill, upskill for FMO team) by connecting workers and businesses according to the effective method of Made in Vietnam Lean Management School.
Develop strong GKM Homes to Made in Vietnam Lean Management increasingly present in many Vietnamese families, to make the lives of Vietnamese families better and better.
Developing GKM E-learning training contents, GKM Education’s educational products towards supporting parents and children to accompany in the learning process and the living at home and society.

TEN HIGHLIGHT EVENTS OF 2018 & THE IMPLEMENTATION PLAN FOR 2019 ACTION PROGRAMS OF GKM VIETNAM

Robusting the application of the programs in consulting and training for CEOs and mid-level managers on Made in Vietnam Lean Management , and developing the community of lean-management enterprises for the improvement of productivity, quality and sustainable development

In 2018, GKM has played an important role in realizing the objective of robusting the application of Made in Vietnam Lean Management in which the program of Made in Vietnam Lean Management CEO (level 1) obtained a great growth of 150% in comparison with 2017’s result in term of quantity. Together with 22 other training courses of GKM Lean Institute, Made in Vietnam Lean Management has been introduced to about 1,000 of CEOs, mid-level managers of companies and organizations in all of the three regions of Vietnam including the companies of Anova, Novaland, Vietnam Paper Corporation (Vinapaco), Mitsubishi Corp Vietnam, Lao Cai Branch of Copper Refining Company, MECI, Agrimedia, Ecoba ENT, Tan Phat Automation JSC, Seico Group, SSP Moulding, Me Tran Binh Xuyen, Hanoi Plastic Bag JSC, Viet Chuan, NC Networks, PVN, Economica, Utech, AVC, Care Home, Seika Mart, Bac Ninh Multi-department Hospital, Hoan My International Hospital, Navy Medical Institute and so on.

In addition to the role of robusting Made in Vietnam Lean Management, the training programs of GKM Lean Institute including Made in Vietnam Lean Management CEO is also a platform for connection, sharing problems and actual stories of the participating entrepreneurs.

In 2018, GKM launched the Family Management Consultation Program of GKM Service. The program is formed on the basis of applying Made in Vietnam Lean Management into the family area. The Family Management Consultation Program consists of two main contents: Organizing for lean living space and Children development orientation.

Completing the E-learning system introducing the online training programs on Made in Vietnam Lean Management applied for family management and business management

In order to introduce the methods of Made in Vietnam Lean Management to many different groups among the society for study and application, in 2018 GKM completed the GKM E-learning Program.

Through GKM E-learning, GKM will introduce to learners the basic contents on management for enterprises/ organizations and families.

At The Vietnam Economic Forum – 2018 Made in Vietnam Lean Management was selected to be the foundation and method for the improvement of productivity and quality aiming to sustainable development

On the January 11, 2018, “Made in Vietnam Lean Management for the Improvement of Productivity and Sustainable Development” has been introduced at The Vietnam Economics Forum – 2018. This is the largest official economic forum of the year organized by the Party’s Central Economic Committee with the presence of the Prime Minister, representatives of ministries, representatives of international organizations in Vietnam, large enterprises and corporations of Vietnam. The forum is where the Government listens to the advice of leading experts from inside and outside of the country on methods to develop the country’s economy.

At its presentation GKM Lean Institute has introduced to 500 participants about Made in Vietnam Lean Management System as the foundation and the method for improving productivity and quality aiming to the sustainable development.

At the forum, participants agreed to improve productivity as a mandatory path to develop the country and a special necessity in the coming period of Vietnam. Therefore, the solutions, especially the wide-ranging individualization solutions such as Made in Vietnam Lean Management are extremely valuable and necessary. This is the foundation to promote the national productivity improvement movement from 2018-2019 onwards.

Through the speech at the forum, GKM has contributed a part of its efforts to the goal of serving the country, towards the development of the country through practical and concrete actions.

There are no limits of the application of Made in Vietnam Lean Management for improving productivity and quality

During 3 days from Sept. 11 to Sept. 13, 2018, GKM Lean Institute organized a Level 2 training course for Lao Cai Branch of Copper Refining Company under Vietnam Minerals Corporation. The level 2 training course is a continuation of the successes achieved from the 2017 Level 1 training course.

Thank to the successful application of level 1 training in 2017, the Made in Vietnam Lean Management has been so appreciated by the Board of Directors of Vietnam Mineral Corporation (Vimico) and Coal Mining Group (Vinacomin) for its relevance and and effectiveness that it was agreed to allow Lao Cai Branch of Copper Refining Company to continue implementing the training on Made in Vietnam Lean Management – Level 2 in 2018. The corporation also asked the Branch to have a long-term and specific plan to apply the Made in Vietnam Lean Management in parallel with the implementation of the development plan of the Corporation in the period of 2019-2021.

The successful lessons of Lao Cai Branch of Copper Refining Company are the affirmation that there are no limits in the application of Made in Vietnam Lean Management to improve productivity and sustain the development. Not only private enterprises but also 100% state-owned enterprises such as Lao Cai Branch of Copper Refining Company, Vietnam Paper Corporation… can implement and apply this effectively.

Promoting Made in Vietnam Lean Management at the largest state-owned enterprise of Vietnam

On Nov. 15, 2018, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Dang Minh, Chairman of GKM Lean Institute, provided a training session for more than 70 senior officials from 36 member units of Viettel Group. The training program was organized in the “Enlightenment Hall” at Viettel Academy with the theme “Made in Vietnam Lean Management for the Improvement of Productivity & Sustainable Development in Viettel”.

After the successful training and consultancy at THACO Truong Hai Auto Corporation which is the leading private corporation of Vietnam, Made in Vietnam Lean Management now continues to demonstrate its practical and effective magnetism to Viettel, the leading state-owned company of Vietnam.

Export Vietnam’s intellectual products

On January 24, 2018, the Japan National Policy Research Institute organized a special seminar for Made in Vietnam Lean Management. At the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Dang Minh introduced Made in Vietnam Lean Management with researchers and entrepreneurs who have been and will be doing business in Vietnam.

Chaired the workshop, Prof. Kenichi Ohno said that Made in Vietnam Lean Management and the TAM THE is really an important foundation for businesses and organizations to operate effectively. According to the professor TAM THE is a business philosophy that is needed to help not only businesses in Vietnam but also can be applied in many parts of the world in different circumstances. It is a special intellectual product of Vietnam and needs introducing to many more people.

Japanese and Korean entrepreneurs refer to Made in Vietnam Lean Management model to improve business effectiveness in Vietnam

On October 25, 2018, at Lotte Hotel Hanoi, GKM Lean Institute introduced Made in Vietnam Lean Management for improving productivity and quality to the Associations of Business Leaders of Japan and Korea in Vietnam. This is a special sharing session organized by the proposal of Mr. Tetsu Funayama, President and CEO of Mitsubishi Corp. in Vietnam after attending the Made in Vietnam Lean Management CEO training Course No. 34.

The sharing session is the affirmation that the Vietnamese enterprises or the enterprises from Europe, US or Northeast Asia doing business in Vietnam should be able to refer to the model of Made in Vietnam Lean Management if they want to improve the quality of doing business.

Signed a strategic cooperation agreement with ISmart Technology Company (Japan) in the field of 4.0 technology

In 2018, GKM Vietnam Company and ISmart Technology Company (Japan) agreed on a strategic cooperation on deploying IoT technology solutions (4.0) on the foundation of Made in Vietnam Lean Management in the practice of manufacturing enterprises in Vietnam.

Promoting the strengths of both sides, the synchronous solution combining Made in Vietnam Technology Management of GKM Smart Manufacturing Institute and the IoT technology of ISmart Technology will bring practical results to customers.
