Following the Lean CEO program, course 52 (September 25 – October 30, 2022), the GKM Lean Management Institute continues to deploy the Made in Vietnam Lean Management 5S course (November 6-7, 2022) with the overwhelming response of the students.

Why do Vietnamese businesses need 5S, but it must be Made in Vietnam 5S?
As a famous management tool associated with Toyota’s Lean Management since the 20th century, 5S has been popular among the Japanese people and spread to other industries through multinational enterprises and organizations. Up to now, many Vietnamese enterprises have been trained in 5S tools in management. However, reality shows that it is very difficult for Vietnamese people to apply this tool proficiently, and its effectiveness only brings very little upward change for businesses. The exhortation and encouragement of 5S only lasted for a very short time, and this management tool gradually lost its applicability when it was only decorative tables.
Management is a broad category associated with people and society. Management methods must be built on elaborate philosophical foundations and profound social science research.
